First off, thanks for viewing "Gillespie 8" There is a way that you can view all of the images on this blog in one whack. It is simple and fun, however you will need to use a different web browser.... so... 1.)Download Firefox http://www.firefox.com 2.)Install Firefox... simple 3.)Go to ... https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5579 and click add to Firefox. 4.)Let it do its thing - it will prompt you for a restart of Firefox. 5.)Once restarted come back to the blog, then you will notice a little arrow in the bottom left corner of images... The "Big Bang!"

This blog was established to bring the lives of "8" siblings back into perspective. Having worked on our family tree for a while I understand the importance of documentation and if for no other reason, I feel that the LEGACY of this generation of Gillespie children should be etched into it's bark!

While most family trees start at the begining and move forward this blog will start at the end and move backwards.

It covers multiple generations and has history, genealogy and rare artifacts that make us Gillespie.

It is an archive of photos, facts, sayings and memories of the children of Walt and Millie.

I envision that this blog will be used to share information about the past. present and future "Gillespie" generations.

I encourage my brothers and sisters to post! In case you are wondering if you are on the right page... this should help

Country Thanksgiving at Diane and Mark's

We ate turkey, prepared by Mark using Dad's recipe.

It was the best turkey Mark ever made.

It was a beautiful day in the country.

The cowgirls were havin' a good time and the horses were enjoyin' the company.

Curiously, I scanned them.

The box says return to Caldwell.
I am guessing that dad was working on something for Church.

Panoramic Christmas

Christmas 2008 - A celebration of family, sharing memories of our loved ones (Jim hits one out of the ballpark).

I believe this was the best Christmas we've had in a long time. The Christmas spirit of our Mom and Dad was ever present this year because of the creativity of my younger, bigger, caring brother.
